“The feeling I had after completing the race was amazing and it gave me a new sense of confidence. I felt strong and motivated, not just for exercise but for life in general.”

“I had only been doing running and wanted something new to challenge myself. A friend of mine mentioned she was thinking about doing a triathlon. I had never considered that before. I started asking around and was told Ramblin’ Rose was the best one to start with! Most memorable moment was right before the race when everyone was gathered together about to line up for the swim. There were so many woman, all different ages and sizes, and I felt a part of something. I was proud to be a part of this. I could feel an amazing energy and adrenaline flowing through everyone! Once you start getting healthy in one area of life it leads to wanting to be healthy in other areas. My eating has changed as well since training and doing this event. I had never done swimming or biking prior to training for this event. I knew I loved running, but I had no idea the joy, energy, and health benefits I would get from incorporating all of these activities into my workout routine.”
