Ramblin’ Rose Winston-Salem Triathlon Course
The SWIM
The swim takes place in the beautiful aquatic facility of the YWCA. Participants will exit the pool area to the transition area, located just outside of the pool. Special thanks to Novant Health – Official Swim Course Sponsor.
The BIKE – (2) 4-Mile Loops (Closed Bike Course)
This 2-loop bike course will showcase some of the beautiful historic homes and rich history of the Old Salem area. It utilizes S. Main Street and E. Salem Ave. and is closed to traffic making it one of the best beginner bike courses. Make sure that you ride 2 loops to get the entire 8 mile course. Yes, there are hills, but you can do this!
The RUN
The run course will take place on the Salem Creek Greenway, which is mostly flat. The out-and-back course will take runners from the YWCA, towards Washington Park and back to the finish line via the wooden pedestrian bridge located in front of the YWCA. There will be an aid station serving water at the turnaround.
The FINISH
Takes place in right in front of the YWCA lobby in the parking lot. The sponsor village is just on the other side of the finish line, making this a very intimate finish line experience.
