Ramblin’ Rose South Charlotte

The SWIM | 200 Yards

Your race kicks off with a 200 yard swim in the INDOOR pool of the Harris YMCA. There will be dual start for the swim, starting with the strongest/fastest swimmers. Just take a deep breath, take the plunge, find your rhythm, and before you know it you’ll have completed 8 lengths of the pool. Next you’ll experience the exhilaration of exiting the pool to the sound of cheers and applause as you make your way to the transition area.

The BIKE | 8 Miles

2 Loop Bike Course – 8 Miles Total!

The bike course showcases the beautiful South Park area of Charlotte. It begins with a nice downhill section on Quail Hollow Road. The bike course only has 5 major right-hand turns and includes Gleneagles Rd, Park Rd, and Sharon Rd. After the first loop – you will repeat the same loop and before you know it you’ll be back at the transition area – ready to go for a run!

The RUN | 2 Miles

The majority of the run course keeps runners on the YMCA campus and close to the spectators. It’s an out-and-back course that includes quiet neighborhood roads. The great thing is that you’ll be able to share the energy with your fellow athletes as you approach the finish line!

The FINISH

Located on the athletic fields at Harris YMCA, the finish line/sponsor village is sure to be a big hit and a perfect place to end an amazing event!
