“I enjoyed my last triathlon the most because I got to do it with my aunt who is a survivor of childhood cancer.”

“My best friend Haley told me about the Ramblin’ Rose Triathlons. I really wanted to do them with her. I had done a smaller youth triathlon and really wanted to push myself. The most memorable moment in during a triathlon was when the temperature was below 40 degrees. I froze every time I went down a hill on my bike. I wanted to quit but didn’t want to be a quitter. My parents were the most proud of me even though it was my slowest time. Now, I have a lot more confidence in myself. When I have to face something hard I think about how hard that cold race was and that I still finished it.”
