Next month over 6,000 runners will take to the scenic streets of Durham in the second annual Bull City Race Fest and Food Truck Rodeo on Oct. 19. This healthy, family-friendly event has something for the fastest runners and families alike. Choose from half-marathon, 5-mile, and 1-mile distances and enjoy a fall morning of running and post-race fun.

The weekend kicks off with the expo and packet pick-up on Saturday, Oct. 18, from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. at the Durham Convention Center. Runners will receive their very cool participant race shirt and bib. While there, they will be able to check out products and services from race sponsors. There will be live music on the plaza to enjoy during the expo.

After the expo, runners will head out on a “carb crawl,” with local restaurants showcasing why Durham is foodie heaven. On Sunday, in addition to post-race refreshments for the runners, there will be food trucks, a complimentary beer garden, a kids’ zone, and more live entertainment.

This year’s race features the Endurance Magazine Corporate Challenge. This challenge promotes, enables and supports teamwork, company affinity and corporate wellness through participation in the Bull City Race Fest and Food Truck Rodeo. Awards will be given across divisions based on overall company participation and fastest finishers.

Register before Sept. 10 to receive a personalized race bib. Like the Bull City Race Fest Facebook page to stay up to date on race details and entertainment news. Learn more about the Bull City Race Fest and Food Truck Rodeo at www.bullcityracefest.com.
