Sept. 16 (2 p.m.) – Raleigh, N.C.

Now in its seventh year, The Magnificent Mile has a fast and flat course that starts at the 300 block of Hillsborough Street in downtown Raleigh. This race is part of NC-USATF/Endurance Magazine Long Distance Championship Series and the Second Empire Grand-Prix Series and is the NC-USATF State Championship for the mile. Those who want an official time and to accumulate points for either or both series can run the competitive mile. All who enter that event will receive a BaySix technical running shirt. For those who prefer to walk or jog, the recreational mile is the way to go. All those participants will receive a commemorative cotton T-shirt. Children have the most options. They can register for the competitive mile, the recreational mile, or our kids’ races. Regardless of the event, kids receive a tech or cotton T-shirt and a medal.
