Raleigh Rocks Half-Marathon and 5k

April 1, 2012  – Raleigh

On Sunday, April 1, 2012, one of North Carolina’s most fun events returns to the RBC Center in Raleigh: the fifth annual Raleigh Rocks Half-Marathon and 5k. This event features more than nine locations on the course with live music, including a concert at the finish line.

In addition, the Raleigh Rocks Half-Marathon features plenty of free parking within yards of the start/finish, so no need for baggage claim or any of the inconveniences with race transportation.

All half-marathon finishers receive a unique finisher’s medal designed specifically for this race.

We changed the last five miles of the race this year. Participants will run down those hills on Trenton Road then down Edwards Mill and back to the RBC Center.

Come out and join more than 2,000 fellow runners for an exciting event and make your running shoes your dancing shoes.

In addition, NC Races presents the Crystal Coast Half-Marathon and 5k on Feb. 25 beginning and ending in Morehead City, but making the beautiful run across the Causeway Bridge to Atlantic Beach and to Fort Macon before returning back across the bridge.
