Be a Pirate at the Flying Pirate Half Marathon & First Flight 5K, April 22 & 23, 2017!
Ahoy Matey! Get yer crew o’ pirates to the Outer Banks of North Carolina!
Run or walk this scenic point to point course that begins in Kitty Hawk and finishes in Nags Head.
Enjoy the beauty of the Outer Banks as you travel along Kitty Hawk Bay, the Wright Brothers Memorial Park, and through the understated beauty of the Nags Head Woods Nature Preserve.
Costumes are highly encouraged at this event. Everyone is invited to join the festivities during the Pirate Jamboree at the Finish Line, featuring live music, free food and beer (21+) for runners! Finisher medals & awards will round out the day!
And don’t forget about the Pirate Expo on Friday, where you can pick up great athletic gear and pirate themed swag. Saturday, be part of the always popular First Flight 5K or join the Fun Run for a mile. Both are run on the beautiful grounds of Wright Brothers Memorial Park.Need more?
