The Cinco de Mayo 10K & 5K Road Race is arguably the fastest certified USA Track & Field course in Fayetteville. This flat course passes through the most famous land marks in Fayetteville: the Market House, the Dogwood Trail, Airborne and Special Operations Museum, Freedom Park, Transportation Museum and local churches. The Cinco de Mayo 10K & 5K Road Race is Fayetteville’s best kept secret road race. Every year, over 800 runners take part in this signature event and battle for $2100 in cash prizes. The Cinco de Mayo family also likes to bring Skydivers, Air Castles for kids, free Mexican food like steak fajitas, pupusas, and tamales. There will also be train rides for kids.
