Official Race Description:

Ninja Challenge is a 5k obstacle race that will see if you are fit to walk the path of a ninja warrior. While anybody can run, only ninja can run up walls. The Ninja Challenge goes beyond a simple race and will truly test your athleticism. Running becomes only half the battle when you face our 15 obstacles that only a true ninja can complete. 

Charity:

This project is in memory of Karl Andrei Besas, a Raleigh resident, UNC graduate, friend, brother, classmate, motorcycle racer, MMA fighter, adventure seeker, and true ninja. Karl was lost in a tragic accident at Lake Gaston in August 2010. The Triangle Red Cross provided support, food, and supplies throughout the five-day search and rescue. The race chose the Red Cross as their charity partner to show thanks and to help them continue to support the community.
