After a year of really dedicated training, my good friend and coaching client, Greg Mathe is taking on his first Ironman today!
He's actually in the water right now for the swim portion of this year's IM New Zealand. The water is calm and looks oh so inviting. Should prove to be a fast day of racing!
Thanks to Ironmanlive I can follow his every move. It'll be a long day. Hopefully Greg executes his gameplan to perfection.
As for things around here, it proved to be another productive week. Of course, the biggest highlight was the approval of the Tar Heel 10 Miler, which takes place on April 26th in Carrboro-Chapel Hill. I'm telling you, this is an event you do NOT want to miss. We also started our collaboration with TerraPass to help offset the carbon emissions for this year's events, another great way to make Race Without A Trace a big success.
Alright, I must return to the task at hand. GO GREG!
