Ramblin' Rose events are not only about "empowering" the participants, but they also provide great benefit to several very important non-profit organizations.

The Ramblin' Rose Chapel Hill benefits Girls on the Run of the Triangle. Girls on the Run is a non-profit prevention program that encourages preteen girls to develop self-respect and healthy lifestyles through running.  Their curricula address all aspects of girls' development - their physical, emotional, mental, social, and spiritual well-being.

MORE ABOUT GIRLS ON THE RUN OF THE TRIANGLE

...educating and preparing girls for a lifetime of self-respect and healthy living

The GOTR-Triangle chapter was founded in 2000 by Mandy Beard, a Durham, NC native. GOTR-Triangle has grown from serving 20 girls in 2001 to 500+ girls in 2008. We currently have programs throughout the Triangle in Durham, Wake, and Orange counties.

GOTR uses the power of running and being active to change the way girls see themselves and their futures. It is an innovative health education and wellness program that combines training for a 3.1 mile non-competitive run/walk event with life-changing, leadership skill building lessons that encourage healthy habits and an active life-style in girls ages 8-12 years old.
