Pirates, pirates everywhere! North Carolina’s Outer Banks hosts the popular Flying Pirate Half Marathon, a picturesque point-to-point course beginning in Kitty Hawk, along the Albemarle Sound and around the Wright Brothers Monument. Breeze your way through the national park on your way to the trail portion of the course in Nags Head Woods. Yes, it’s a challenge at the end … but when you cross the finish line the result is well worth it!

Participants will have free parking and free shuttle service to the event. There will also be a bag check. Runners can enjoy free beer and food at the Pirate Jamboree Finish Line with live music. All scallywags are invited! All the finishers’ swag will be just cross the finish line. Don’t forget the awesome Flying Pirate event shirt and medal. Brave Double Dare Challengers will earn the 5k shirt and medal, the half-marathon shirt, medal and other swag, not to mention the cool Double Dare Challenger Medal – that’s two shirts and three medals! You’re guaranteed to impress your crew with this bling!
